Achievements of Kenya

Project background

In 2020, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) adopted 13 Japanese companies that have technologies effective for controlling COVID-19 and various infectious diseases in developing countries.
Kinsei Sangyo was selected as one of the 13.
The purpose of this project is to promote the dissemination of technologies to improve health and hygiene in Asia and Africa.

Overview: Introduced incinerator MGB-100 to Mutsuini Hospital.
Incineration of medical waste.(500kg/day)

Complete combustion

Due to complete combustion, only CO2 and steam come out of the chimney.
Due to the complete combustion of waste, there is no unburned.
Batch input

It can be put in without pretreatment such as crushing.
Hygienic because does not break the container of medical waste.
Prevents injuries by reducing human touch these wastes.
Completely Sealed

After inputs, incinerator will be completely sealed by closing the door.
It is safe and secure because waste and gas never go out.
Energy saving

MGB-100 saves energy because it can be operated with less fuel Reduce running costs.
Space saving

MGB-100 is space-saving, so easy to install.
It can be introduced in any hospital.
Less dioxins

Excellent incineration performance and complete combustion suppress the generation of dioxins.
It is an environmentally friendly incinerator.

Assembled and commissioned at Kinsei Sangyo in Japan. Final confirmation before shipment by technical staff.
Remote installation

We can't travel to Kenya for COVID-19 countermeasures. We connect Kinsei and Kenya by LIVE relay, Kinsei’s staff will give instructions remotely, and install incinerator properly.

Input of medial waste /start of test run

Kenyan staff start test run and incinerate waste. Kinsei technical staff watched over from Japan.
Test run

Demonstrated incineration of MGB-100 with little smoke and unburned residue. Staff and neighbors watched over.
Training and handing over

Conducted training and Q & A with Kenyan staff. We taught them how to operate so that they could use by themselves in the future.
